HDD is becoming a vestige. The future is only for SSD disks

On June 11, 2023 Microsoft had a very successful Xbox Showcase. In addition to gaming news, there was one alarm bell at the presentation - the minimum requirements for the open-world adventure game Starfield, scheduled for fall 2023, include an SSD drive.

The baton was taken over by the famous Polish developers from CD Projekt Red with their global update "Phantom Liberty" for Cyberpunk 2077.

The first half of 2023 was the last year of support for Xbox One and PS 4. From now on, developers are interested in working only with the last ninth generation of consoles. New games will not be launched on PC with HDD at all.
